The Prac and the snack (Or, how I take my weaknesses and turn them into strengths)

Anyone who's seen me practising knows that food is never far away. I can't practise without refuelling my body and brain. I believe that, as with anything, there's always psychology behind our practice habits. I get into the habit of focusing for short bursts at a time, and then I take a break to munch on something, dried fruit, nuts, whatever - the point being that it takes your mind off of what you've just been focusing on for a brief period of respite. I snack, and I think about what I've just prac-ed.
I take my short attention span and my love for snacking, and combine them to create a routine which works in my favour.
